Grand Canyon of the Pacific
Waimea Canyon, also known as the Grand Canyon of the Pacific, is almost 10 miles long and 3,000 feet deep. This is part of Waimea Canyon State Park, which is right next to Koke’e State Park. The Charming Town of Zermatt
Zermatt sits in the shadows of the Matterhorn, which is arguably the most iconic mountain in the world. This beautiful mountain sits on the border between Switzerland and Italy. Davos and Klosters, an Alpine Resort
Davos-Klosters is a destination you would visit for winter activities, such as tobogganing, cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, winter fat biking, and of course skiing and snowboarding. They also have plenty of warm weather activities too, such as paragliding/hang gliding, mountain climbing, hiking, river rafting, and golf. These aren’t extensive lists, but you get the idea. There are six different mountain peaks in this area, and it is absolutely stunning.
Three Days in Lucerne
Lucerne is one of the most beautiful and quaint cities we have been to in our travels. Surrounding the city is a beautiful panorama of the Alps with Lake Lucerne in the foreground. The building characteristics in Lucene are charming and an example of medieval architecture. There is plenty to see in the city as well as the surrounding areas.
